Dear Ms. Pulliam and Sons: I was so sorry to read of the passing of Dr. Pulliam in the Atlanta paper. I worked in community developmental disability (DD) services out of Dalton at the time Dr. Pulliam was at NW Regional in Rome. I was relatively young to have the position that I held at that time, but Dr. Pulliam saw potential in me and served both as a mentor and a coach. I appreciated him in both roles, although he was quick to point out when he felt that I was "resting on my laurels" :). He was a good, kind man and a dedicated professional. 35 years later I remember him fondly and much appreciate his influence on my life and career. I wish you peace in this difficult time.

Miss Martha, Robert, and Mark...there are no words to ease your heartbreak just now but know that others care and are holding you in the light of God's love for you. I am remembering the good times/years of your tenure in Rome, GA and all of the good works that benefitted our clientele at NWGRH through the leadership of Dr. P, with the full support/help of you, his cherished/beloved family. God bless and comfort you.

Martha, I read of Bob's death and send my sympathies. If I have the correct Mrs. Pulliam, you were a teacher at Brookwood in Thomasville about 40 years ago and taught My son Max in second grade. We remember u fondly. Thinking of u at this difficult time. Mary jo Beverly

Martha and Mark, What a shock to read Bob's obituary today. We have so many fond memories from tours of the hospital to a visit on the farm. Bob was the consummate hospital CEO. He was meticulous, knowledgeable about each patient, and demanding yet supportive of staff. As a gentleman farmer he approached that task with thre same energy and passion as he he did at Northwest Regional Hospital. A person of deep faith. We know he is now at peace. We will hold you in our thoughts and prayers. While we know there is now a void in your life, we also know that your memories, the support of family and friends and God's grace will sustain you.
